I have always believed that behind every difficulty there is a child who needs to be understood.
That idea has guided every decision in my professional journey and is why today I support children, families and schools through a respectful, individualised and deeply human approach.
From Early Childhood Education to Pedagogy
My vocation for education began early. I studied Early Childhood Education and, driven by a desire to understand how each child learns, I continued my training with a degree in Pedagogy. Teaching alone did not feel enough: I wanted to understand learning processes, child development and the needs that make every child unique in greater depth.
Along that path I discovered Montessori pedagogy, a philosophy that transformed the way I understand childhood. I learned that observing is as important as intervening, that every child follows their own developmental rhythm, and that the adult’s role is not to direct learning but to prepare the environment and offer support with respect, trust and sensitivity.
Beyond the classroom
During my classroom experience I met many children with different ways of learning, communicating, feeling and relating to the world. I also met families looking for answers and teachers who wanted to help but often did not have the tools they needed to understand what was happening.
That was when I realised my work could go beyond the classroom. Wanting to provide support grounded in knowledge and evidence, I continued specialising in ADHD, learning difficulties and behavioural disorders. Later I incorporated Positive Discipline and Cognitive Coaching into my practice, because I came to understand that a child’s development depends not only on the child, but also on the adults who support them every day.
One shared conviction
Today my work integrates psychopedagogy, Montessori pedagogy and Positive Discipline. Although they come from different fields, they share one conviction: every child deserves to be understood before being judged, and supported from their strengths rather than defined by their difficulties.
That is why, in every assessment, every session and every meeting with a family, my goal is always the same: to understand how that child learns, discover what they need and build, together with the people around them, a path that supports wellbeing, autonomy and development.
I strongly believe in collaboration between families, schools and professionals. When everyone shares a common perspective, the child finds a coherent environment where they can feel safe, understood and able to develop their full potential.
